Phani Tetali is the cartoonist for the Mumbai Mirror, where he publishes the daily pocket cartoon series “Life at Large”. The series, which appears on weekdays, began on June 16, 2025.

About “Life at Large”
The cartoon follows the lives of an average Mumbai man and woman, humorously reflecting and celebrating the nuances of everyday life in the city. Tetali frequently shares insights into his work and creative process on his Instagram and LinkedIn accounts.

About the Cartoonist
In addition to his work for Mumbai Mirror, Phani Tetali is a Professor at the Industrial Design Centre (IDC), IIT Bombay, where he specializes in animation, illustration, and design. Beyond his daily cartoon, he is recognized for:

• Illustrations capturing everyday life and events in Mumbai, including commuting on local trains.

• Occasional longer social media posts that combine his illustrations with short anecdotes or observations.
