Thanks to Venkat Macha for taking these snaps during his recent trip to IT-BHU, Varanasi, India. These snaps took me back many many years…to the days when I was studying (?) Engineering! These snaps are worth their weight in gold for me

It was wonderful meeting Chandra today. Chandra and I were colleagues at FXLabs in Hyderabad, where he used to head the IT for the company. All our projects at FXLabs were possible partly due to his contribution. He’s now working in Bombay, and it was nice to have him come over and spend the entire day at the campus. We had a good lunch, followed by a great walk along the Powai lake. Here are some photographs:

I woke up with a start last night. There was a huge bang. The building shook and the glass windows vibrated. It turned out that there was a lightning strike very near by. Like I said, it has been raining very heavily for the past few days in Mumbai. I woke up early this morning and found it to be very wet and misty. I decided to go for a walk. These are some pictures I took of the campus in and around the guest house where I stay. The campus is indeed very green and fresh after the recent rains.
I wish it rains everyday

Munnar and Thekkady

These photographs are a bit dated. My friends and I went to Munnar and Thekkady (in Kerala, India) along with our families. This was in 2006. Beautiful places. Here are a few of the snaps taken then. Unless otherwise mentioned, all photographs were taken by me.

My heart goes out to those killed in the tragic accident that happened on the Periyar river in Thekkady yesterday. I feel really saddened.
